By Jayson Blair with Bill Thomas

Bill Thomas has been busy these days.

A victim’s advocate, a true crime podcaster and the brother of murder victim Kathy Thomas, Bill is less than one year out from the January 2004 announcement that at least two of the Colonial Parkway murders had been linked to a Virginia fisherman named Alan Wilmer Sr.

Bill’s sister is one of more than 10 suspected victims connected to the murders, which occurred just off the Colonial Parkway, a 22-mile stretch of Virginia road that connects Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown.

More than 10 murder victims have been linked to the Colonial Parkway murders, including the death of Bill Thomas’ sister, Kathy (bottom, second-to-the-right) and her girlfriend, Rebecca Dowski.
